14 January 2015 Lesson Summary no.04

We learnt how to use the acronym C.R.A.P in English essays:
Clear- check if the the phrasing of the essay is clear and understandable.
Relevant- check if the points and examples used are relevant to the question and on-point.
Accurate- check if the examples used are accurate and are from reliable sources.
Precise- check if the essay is straight forward and answers to the question.

We should also determine the genre of the question so as to answer it appropriately. Some of these genres include “discussion” and “argumentative”.
